Improv for Teaching

This program is for UCI graduate students and post-doctoral scholars interested in the Improv for Teaching program.

FOUR-SESSION COMMUNICATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
This highly interactive program will help participants learn to:
― Think on your feet
― Engage in active listening techniques
― Create a collaborative learning environment
― Expand your imagination to lead a dynamic classroom

The instructor, Bri McWhorter is the founder of the communications company, Activate to Captivate. She has an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine and a BA in Theater from UC Berkeley. She is a presentation coach for many programs at UC Irvine and teaches communication skills at various universities and companies around the country.

The Winter 2024 program will take place online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am-11:30am on Jan 16, 18, 23, 25.
