We are proud of our I/O psychology faculty and students for their contributions to this accomplishment. In 2022-2023, members of our graduate programs published 20 peer-reviewed journal publications, 4 book chapters, and gave 31 peer-reviewed conference presentations. Hofstra's Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational (IO) Psychology prepares students for careers in such areas as human resources, training, management, and organization development, in which they can apply psychological principles to problems that arise in a wide variety of organization settings. It is also designed to enhance the careers of professionals who work in these areas by teaching them to apply psychology to issues that develop in their organizations.
