NYU Tandon - Born Anywhere, Made in Brooklyn

Dear Tandon students,

As you may have heard, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) released new guidance yesterday regarding student visa eligibility for fall. The key change is that any international student studying in the US on an F-1 visa cannot take an online-only course load this fall. We will be offering in-person and blended options in the Fall, but we are aware this may pose an issue for some of you. We are currently working on expanding our in-person and hybrid/blended course offerings to address these needs.

We are deeply disturbed by any restrictions, including this one, on our international students’ ability to get the best possible education. Read President Hamilton's statement, look for further guidance from OGS this week, and from us on any expanded offerings and guidance on registration as a result in 1-2 weeks. And please know that we will make every effort to ensure all of you can continue your studies uninterrupted.
