Have-A-Look Nomination Form 2023

Have-A-Look (HAL), a fly-in program designed for students living in the U.S. from lived experiences historically underrepresented in higher education, offers students the opportunity to become acquainted with the academic and social opportunities at Haverford. Interested high school seniors (U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and undocumented/DACA students living in the United States) are welcome to apply. In our HAL application review, we will consider among other things: a student's socioeconomic background, first generation to college status, ability to travel to campus without Have-A-Look, and other life experiences that have been historically underrepresented in higher education. Haverford will provide need-based travel scholarships for Have-A-Look participants.

The program gives participants the opportunity to interact with faculty and administrators, learn about diversity and belonging on campus, and explore Haverford further. Students will also get the chance to engage in open dialogue with current Haverford students and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for how we choose to steward our community at Haverford.
