Confused about the FAFSA? Join Rhodes College for a FAFSA Boot Camp!

 
Confused about how to fill out the FAFSA? Rhodes College wants to help you better understand the FAFSA and help you fill it out! Join us October 28th from 5:00-7:30 pm for our first FAFSA Boot Camp! Students and parents are invited to come to campus for an optional tour from 5-6 pm, before we sit down for dinner and an informational presentation on the FAFSA and Financial Aid here at Rhodes! Then families will receive help from our Financial Aid workers on getting started on the FAFSA. You are welcome to bring your own laptop or computer, but computers will also be provided if necessary. We also encourage you to bring the following documents with you so that we can help you get started on your collegiate journey!
 

Here are the documents you should bring, both for yourself and your parents.

• Your Social Security Number, Driver’s License Number
• Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
• Your 2020 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
• Bank statements (checking and savings) and records of investments (if applicable)
• Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
• An FSA ID to sign electronically.
