Laurel Grodman Meet Laurel Grodman, managing director of admissions and MBA Class of 2006. Laurel will provide an overview of the MBA program and highlight the three things you should know about the Yale SOM curriculum. She will also touch on what makes the Yale community unique.

Kristen Mercuri Join us for a live online Q&A session hosted by Yale SOM Admissions Committee member, Kristen Mercuri.  This is a small, interactive session where all participants are encouraged to share their audio and video, replicating the group conversation you would experience during an in-person campus visit. Community and inclusion Q&A

July 13, 12:00 p.m. ET, 45-Minute Session
Jourdan Brooks Join us for a live online Q&A session hosted by Jourdan Brooks, associate director for community and inclusion. No Agenda. No Presentation. This is your chance to ask questions about the Yale SOM culture, admissions process, and diversity initiatives. This is a small, interactive session where all participants are encouraged to share their audio and video, replicating the group conversation you would experience during an in-person event. July 13, 7:00 p.m. ET, 30-Minute session
Jolene Monson Meet Jolene Monson, deputy director of admissions and veteran MBA AdCom member. Jolene will provide an inside look at the 2021-2022 MBA application by walking you through the application live.  She will communicate what the AdCom is looking for and share tips on completing the various unique aspects of the Yale SOM application – the Behavioral Assessment, the Essay, and the Video Questions.

Maria Derlipanska Join us for a live online Q&A session hosted by Yale SOM Admissions Committee member, Maria Derlipanska. This is a small, interactive session where all participants are encouraged to share their audio and video, replicating the group conversation you would experience during an in-person campus visit. For this reason seats are limited.

July 14, 7:00 p.m. ET, 45-minute session
Student Conversations Join current students for an interactive session to gain an inside perspective on the SOM experience. The current students will tell you a little bit about themselves, and then you can select breakout rooms for small-group conversations with the students. Stay in one breakout space or move between spaces to hear from different students—the choice is yours. Participants are encouraged to share their audio and video in order to approximate the experience of an in-person social event.


 

leverage the mba to change careers

July 15, 11:00 a.m. ET, 60-minute session
Abigail Kies Join us for a panel discussion, featuring Abigail Kies, assistant dean for career development, that will explore how the MBA can be a vehicle to make a career pivot. The panel will include an SOM current student and alumni. Learn about the resources that exist for career changers at Yale SOM and gain insight on how to communicate your career aspirations within the MBA application.
