Kim walking on campus

The Office of Undergraduate Admission welcomes you to our dynamic Coral Gables campus—to experience firsthand what those of us who are part of the 'Canes community already know: the U is a special place.

REGISTER

You can download the Self-Guided Walking Tour pamphlet which includes:

  • a campus map
  • point-by-point descriptions of what you'll see on campus
  • information about places of interest, such as our academic buildings, student life facilities, residential colleges, performance venues, and photo opportunities

We ask that you register before you begin exploring campus. You will be able to stop by the Office of Undergraduate Admission any time between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to obtain a map on your selected self-guided tour date. Please note, access to indoor spaces on your tour route may be restricted. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Safety Guidelines

To ensure the health and safety of our campus community, as well as any visiting prospective students and families, we have put in place the following measures based on guidance from public health and government agencies and numerous multi-disciplinary University committees. Thank you in advance for your compliance with the measures detailed below.

Face coverings while on campus are optional. Individuals who wish to wear a face covering for their protection are encouraged to do so, and that decision will be respected by all members of our community.

We kindly ask that you depart campus and contact a healthcare provider if you do not feel well or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Capacities at various on-campus locations have been reduced to accommodate the need for physical distancing.

Self-guided tour maps will be available outside the lobby door so that you can grab and go!

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is currently unable to hold individual appointments. If you have specific questions about your application or supporting documents, we ask that you contact your assigned admission counselor and set up a time to speak by phone or virtual platform, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

After your tour

While the University of Miami is taking all precautions to safeguard our campus community, we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 exposure and infection on campus. Please be reminded that you are undertaking your self-guided tour at your own risk. If any visitor presents symptoms and subsequently tests positive for COVID-19 within 72 hours of visiting campus, please report this information to the University of Miami Health System at 305-243-ONEU, Option 4. If you test positive for COVID-19 more than 72 hours after visiting campus, you do not need to report this information to us.
