Perhaps God has called you into full-time vocational ministry. But as a high school student, you’ve wondered what this could even look like. “What does it mean to work as a pastor? Missionary? Non-profit ministry director?” “What college could develop me in my calling?” “Does anyone else have a similar calling as I do?” The questions never end.
If you’ve ever wondered these things, then we invite you to Examen Camp.
At examen CAmp, you will
EXPLORE YOUR CALLING
You’ll have the space to wonder how God has called you to ministry through classes, special events, retreats, and devoted time to just be with God in fresh and unique ways.
GET COLLEGE CREDIT
You’ll attend a Bible/Theology dual-enrollment course while living on Indiana Wesleyan University’s campus to get a taste of what ministry education can be like, while receiving college credits entirely for free!
MAKE DEEP FRIENDS
You’ll participate in all sorts of games, activities, and unforgettable events with 29 of your peers who are wondering the same sorts of questions, forming deep lifelong friendships.
APPLY TO EXAMEN Camp
1 WEEK CAMP - JUNE 22 - JUNE 29, 2024
2 WEEK CAMP - JULY 13 - JULY 27, 2024
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS.
Click the “APPLY” button for either Examen 1 Week or Examen 2 Week. Note that each application link works only for that Examen program.
If this is your first time doing Examen, create a username and password through Indiana Wesleyan University’s application manager. Follow onscreen instructions as prompted. If you have applied to Examen in the past, login to the application manager as a RETURNING USER.
Once your account is created, complete the application. Be sure to press the “SUBMIT” button after signing your name on the last page.
After submitting your application, you’ll receive an email with instructions to submit the following materials:
• Request your official high school transcript be sent to Indiana Wesleyan University
• Complete the two essays on the Examen Information Form on IWU’s application managerYou can log in at any point to update information or see the progress on your materials by clicking the APPLY button below for the Examen program you chose
Once all your materials are in, you will be contacted via email and personal phone call about your admittance into the program!
NOTE: You will only be considered for the program after all the listed materials are submitted. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

DEVELOP YOUR CALL FURTHER WITH THE CALLED COLLECTIVE
Beyond Examen Camp, you may want to develop your call and connect with your friends. The Called Collective is a social network created especially for those called into ministry. The Called Collective seeks to equip the next generation of Ministry leaders to do the work God’s is leading them to do. You will find training tools such as articles and Tracks, which are detailed and especially designed workshops to develop necessary ministry skills.
