Admissions Visit Policies

  • We strongly recommend that visitors register in advance. This will allow us to accommodate visitors for personal tours. No large group tours are available at this time.
  • We invite visitors who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to remove their masks, in accordance with College policy. If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, we ask you to wear a mask while inside College facilities. We support those who are more comfortable wearing a mask, in any setting
  • All tours will be conducted with one family per tour guide.

Virtual Visit Options

Information Session

All students are welcome to register for a virtual information session. We offer both regular information sessions as well as specific regional information sessions. Please invite others in your household to join you and bring your questions!

Register for a regional information session

What is the difference between a regional information session and a regularly scheduled information session? Regional sessions will allow you to meet the counselor who is assigned to your area and will be your primary point of contact throughout the admissions process. (Note: Regions are based on the location of your high school.) Both sessions will provide you with a great overview of Gettysburg College.

Additional opportunities for rising seniors

Juniors and transfer students are welcome to register for a virtual interview during which you have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with an admissions professional. Interviews are highly recommended as a part of our application process.
