Central Michigan University

At Central Michigan University, we are committed to providing a comprehensive education that prepares our students for successful careers and lifelong learning. With over 24,000 students enrolled, we offer more than 200 programs across a wide range of academic fields, including business, education, health professions, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and STEM that are packed with opportunities to engage and learn in the field.

CMU has earned distinction as a Carnegie doctoral/research university, known for the research opportunities it gives even to undergraduate students. From day one, students have access to some of the region's most state-of-the-art facilities, including our MakerBot Innovation Center and Biological Station on Beaver Island. Through hands-on learning, internships, and research opportunities alongside faculty who are teachers, mentors, and future colleagues, our students graduate with an unmatched drive and confidence that when a problem needs to be solved, it's a CMU Chippewa who'll step up.
