Suffolk University’s campus is located in the heart of downtown Boston and thoroughly student-centered. We’re committed to nurturing our students' academic, professional, and personal journeys and preparing them for success—however they define it. Suffolk offers more than 60 undergraduate programs and over 50 graduate programs across our College of Arts & Sciences, Sawyer Business School, and Law School. Experiential learning, internship, and service-learning opportunities are at the core of the Suffolk experience thanks to our partnerships with Boston’s top employers and our Center for Career Equity, Development & Success. Our 120+ clubs, organizations, and performing arts groups keep our students engaged outside of the classroom and connected to our vibrant community. With global learning opportunities in over 16 countries, our students gain insights that make them culturally competent thinkers who understand problems on a global scale. Our downtown location places students at the center of all these possibilities, in a diverse and inclusive community rooted in a historical mission of access and opportunity.

Additional Information

Test-Optional Policy for Domestic Students
Suffolk University provides an education that is just as unique as you are. Since no two applicants are the same, our admission counselors will review your application holistically, and Suffolk’s test-optional policy lets you decide whether or not to submit your SAT or ACT scores. We look forward to reading your application and learning more about you in the process.

Test-Flexible Policy for International Students
At Suffolk, we are aware of the limitations some international students have faced with regard to standardized testing. Therefore, our International Student admission policy (as it pertains to testing) focuses only on submitting proof of English proficiency. We have created a comprehensive list of options that freshman and transfer applicants can submit to fulfill this requirement.
