Ranger Card & Campus Cash - Terms & Conditions

  1. The Ranger Card serves as the official form of university identification. Fraudulent use or alteration warrants confiscation and disciplinary action. Use of the card implies consent to the terms and conditions and may be revoked at the University’s sole discretion for violation of university policies and procedures.

  1. The Ranger Card must be presented upon request at the time of use to obtain services or to establish official university status.

  1. The Ranger Card is not transferable. Only the Cardholder can present the card for debit and other privileges. Cards will be confiscated if presented by someone other than the Cardholder.

  1. The Cardholder is required to immediately deactivate a lost or stolen card.

  1. The Cardholder is responsible for all fraudulent transactions prior to reporting the card lost or stolen. The University is responsible for any fraudulent transaction thereafter.

  1. A replacement card fee is applied when a new card is issued. The fee will be waived upon the presentation of a police report stating the card was stolen.

  1. Your Ranger Card will be valid throughout your entire academic or employment career at UW-Parkside. All cardholder privileges assigned to the card will be deactivated upon separation from the university.

  1. The Ranger Cardholder agrees to abide by all sales, regulations, policies and procedures as specified by the University and the Ranger Card program. Violations of such rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures may result in cancellation of the Cardholder’s privileges. Further changes in terms and conditions regulating the use of the Ranger Card and the Ranger Card accounts will apply to all cards/accounts in use at the time and will supersede the terms and conditions in effect at the time the card/accounts was acquired.

  1. The no fee, non-interesting bearing Campus Cash debit account is accessed via your Ranger Card and is automatically assigned. There is no minimum balance associated with the account.

  1. There are no limitations on the number of times or the dollar amount for purchases, given the cardholder has an adequate balance.

  1. Positive Campus Cash balances carry forward from term to term for all current faculty, staff and student cardholders.

  1. Upon separation from the University, the account holder may request a refund, less an administrative fee. Partial refunds, cash refunds or cash withdrawals are not allowed.

  1. Upon separation from the University and the account is inactive for twelve (12) months, positive balances will go to the University. Negative balances will be applied to the cardholder's student invoice.

  1. Ranger Card account transaction history may be obtained through the Online Card Office or a statement of transactions may be requested. Account balance is available at most point of sale locations.

  1. Error resolution is rectified where the error occurred (e.g. Dining Services, Bookstore, Concierge, etc.). Items purchased from the account may be returned pursuant to the return policies of the location where the purchase was made.
