Scope and Contents

The collection contains thirty-eight Native American watercolor paintings completed during the 20th century. The paintings range in size from 6x7 inches to 24x36 inches. The collection includes paintings by Julian Martinez, Trinidad Archuleta, Romando Vigil, and several other well-known artists. Brandeis acquired the collection in 1971 from the Riverside Museum in New York City.
