Pre-College Team
Liz Quinn, Senior Director of Accelerate Pre-College Programs
Liz has worked with Northeastern’s Accelerate Pre-College Programs since 2017 and has been with the university since 2008, having primarily worked in international program development and management. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. Over the past few years Liz has greatly enjoyed her time working with faculty in Northeastern’s various colleges to design programs that bring dynamic, hands-on experiences to pre-college students.
Kacey McCaffrey Dukaj, Senior Associate Director for Pre-College Programs
Kacey joined Northeastern’s Accelerate Pre-College Programs team coming from the university’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Kacey holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University where she also earned her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Prior to Northeastern, Kacey worked with pre-college programs at both NYU and most recently The School of The New York Times where she oversaw policy development, risk management, and student life operations across The School’s programs for pre-college students.
Dr. Anelie Pierre, Associate Director of Diversity and Access for Pre-College Programs
Anelie joined the Pre-College Programs team in June 2022. She provides strategic direction and leadership for deepening engagement with prospective underrepresented students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, and first-generation college students. Anelie is also a Fellow in The Partnership Inc. class of 2023. Prior to working in pre-college, Anelie served on the leadership team at NU’s Center for Student Involvement and has been in higher education for nearly 5 years. In April 2022, Anelie was a recipient of the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute Black Heritage Award and in July 2022 Anelie completed the Doctor of Law and Policy (DLP) – Executive Program at NU. Anelie’s research examined the chief diversity officers’ impact on minority student retention at predominantly white institutions. Before transitioning to higher education, Anelie worked at the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC). She earned her master’s degree in non-profit management from NU and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
